My vortex maidens, my lesbian mermaids…  18 x 18 inches, graphite on board, another plate for Techniques class My teacher asked for a “fantasy” themed work. Working with graphite AND WATER on an acrylic-primed board was difficult in some aspects but we enjoyed having a bit of freedom in our work.
