This was my final plate for Techniques I class. It is now our puppy’s official portrait, and it will be displayed somewhere special, perhaps in my room or the living room where the photos of the family will be.

Our internet connection had been terrible for more than a month before we had it disconnected a couple of days ago. For days prior the disconnection, we did not have connection at all. I did not enjoy it, but it did some good as well. I was able to practice drawing for the UPFA talent test that happened yesterday (Hello, I’m thinking of going back to school), and I was able to make several illustrations also. Here’s one of them. It’s in the style I used to do done in the medium I used to use a lot, without attempting to look more realistic.

Yay! This is finally over. I hope Japan is really finally recovering. I bet they are. If a relatively poor country like ours, of course with generous help from other people as well, was able to power through Ondoy, Japan would be able to recover from the hits of Mother Nature as well.

I should try painting on larger surfaces.

I always see a character with this hairstyle, and they’re always stupid or incredibly naive as in beyond comprehension. I get annoyed by this character, but I always find her strangely endearing.
Second of three homage pieces.
